Plant Health Australia (PHA) has released an overview of training events scheduled for delivery in 2026.

PHA’s training program is designed to strengthen workforce capability across Australia’s plant biosecurity system. Activities are tailored to specific audiences including Members, growers, industry professionals, government representatives and researchers.
Training in 2026 will cover a range of topics to support biosecurity preparedness, response and recovery, with a focus on national arrangements and obligations under the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (EPPRD).
PHA delivers training for Members and other stakeholders through workshops, online courses and simulation exercises, supported by a range of training resources. Training is delivered throughout the year to meet specific program and stakeholder needs.
