Community Bee Innovation Fund grants are now open, and you could fund your innovative varroa mite education or management project.
Grants of between $5,000 and $50,000 are available for innovative varroa mite education and management projects.
Varroa mite (Varroa destructor) can have a big impact, leaving beekeepers and growers with pollination-reliant crops in a sticky situation. Honey bees are weakened by the parasitic pest, which can result in the death of hives.
Applications close 5pm AEST on 18 August 2025.
