This module provides initial and just in time training for induction into emergency animal disease (EAD) biosecurity response specifically relating to the key role of surveillance.
This course is for anyone who wants to understand the key principles of surveillance function in an emergency response or someone with responsibility to work in the surveillance unit in a biosecurity response.
This module is designed to prepare you for working in the surveillance role within a biosecurity response team.

The module uses scenarios and quizzes to highlight and consolidate the participant’s learning.
At the completion of this training module there will be a certificate of completion that may be printed.

These modules are hosted on the NSW EM Train website. Users can create a free account using their email address. This will also allow users to access other training modules on the EM Train site.
Online Virtual training conducted entirely through digital platforms, allowing participants to learn remotely.
