About EuFMD Virtual Learning

The European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (EuFMD) works with Member Nations on their preparedness to put in place sustainable control programmes, and to support and promote the global strategy for progressive control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease through close partnership with DG-SANTE of the European Commission, with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Organization of Animal Health.

The EuFMD has developed a virtual learning platform to support the capacity development of veterinary services and animal health workers to improve preparedness for management of FMD and similar transboundary animal disease (FAST) emergencies to reduce risk in neighbouring countries and sustain and enhance progress in the roll-out of the GF-TADs global strategy.
